Coming behind others that don’t properly run corners behind gutters, and one area missed completely. Prior company hired “cheap per say” and they called back with noises and company no longer answered the phone or went out of Business. Leaving them with damages as well.
this is one of many reasons wildlife will gain access through drip edge, it’s installed to please the law not prevent rodents.
1.) it’s not attached to facia board so they can push up and go in just like a dog door.
2.) has lips to chew on and rodents can sit inside gutters and chew through.
3.) most times drip edge is nothing more than aluminum no where near thick enough to keep rodents out
